Every space comes with a story history option. While editing content, click the History icon in the top area of your story to view your page history.

Click the History button to see a comparison of your current version against any previous saved or published version. Changes are marked with color-coded pills:

Depending on which pills appear, this tells you what kind of change was made:

Pills shownWhat it means
Red and Green, both with contentThe field's value was changed — Red is the old value, Green is the new one.
Red with content, Green emptyThe field was emptied — it used to contain the Red value but now shows as blank.
Red empty, Green with contentThe field was filled in — it was previously empty and now contains the Green value.
Only Green (no red pill at all)A new field was added to the schema.
Only Red (no green pill at all)The field or block was deleted entirely.

You can navigate to all your previous versions, listed on the right-hand side of the page, by clicking on that version. You can also restore to that version by clicking the Restore button.

Once you click the Restore button, a confirmation pop-up will open. You have two options: click Restore, or click Cancel to go back.

After you click Restore to a previous version, refresh the page, and you will see your visual editor showing your previous content.

Learn: If you hit publish, all your previously saved versions after the last published version get grouped below the latest published version. You can also restore a single saved version when needed.
