The activity log is a record of all actions performed within your Storyblok space, including content updates, story creations, deletions, and changes to components, datasources, and settings. It gives teams full visibility into who did what and when, making it easier to track changes, identify errors, and maintain accountability across projects.
The larger a team and project, the more valuable this visibility becomes. The Extended Activity Log is Storyblok's enhanced version of this feature, available on higher-tier plans, offering a longer retention period so teams can look further back into their space's history.
What does it track?
The activity log records actions such as:
- Story creation, updates, and deletions
- Component creation and changes
- Datasource and datasource entry updates
- Space and settings changes
How do I access it?
You can access the activity log directly within your space. It is also accessible via the Management API for teams who want to export, filter, or archive logs programmatically. For a step-by-step guide on exporting your activity log, refer to this tutorial.
Which plans include the Extended Activity Log?
